Jodi Anthony, ScD

Client Account Lead, U.S. Healthcare

Bio

Jodi Anthony, ScD, is a social epidemiologist with over two decades of mixed-methods, equitable evaluation, strategic consulting, and technical assistance experience focused on improving health for women, children, and families. Dr. Anthony brings expertise from her work with a variety of federal agencies, including Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Health and Human Services’ Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation and Office of Population Affairs. She also has worked with health systems, foundations, city and state governments, universities, and community coalitions.

Anthony serves as Abt’s account lead for HRSA, the Agency for Healthcare Workforce and Quality, and the Indian Health Service. She provides technical direction, conceptual design, and financial and quality oversight to projects within this portfolio.

Over the course of her 20+ year career, Anthony has developed strong relationships with government clients and is a trusted partner in conceptualizing and delivering innovative, effective, and strategic solutions.

She has directed several maternal and child health projects for HRSA, including the evaluation of the Quality Improvement Fund-Maternal Health, which supports health center delivery of maternal health services. She also has supported the Maternal and Child Health Bureau’s strategic planning and organizational transformation efforts. Before entering consulting, Anthony was the director of maternal and child health home visiting for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
