ZeAmma Brathwaite has over 20 years of experience partnering with private organizations and federal agencies to improve access to care and health outcomes for individuals and communities. A certified project management professional, Brathwaite has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams in the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex, large-scale transformation efforts using improvement science methods and tools to accelerate change.
Brathwaite serves as Vice President of U.S. Domestic Healthcare Services and is responsible for the growth and management of Abt’s large portfolio of research, digital and technical assistance projects at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), among others. Using her keen awareness of client needs and ability to establish strategic partnerships, Brathwaite delivers innovative solutions through digital modernization and advanced analytic techniques.
Brathwaite’s entire career has been focused on improving health outcomes and access to social services. Before joining Abt, she was a Principal Director for Accenture Federal Services (AFS), where she led growth and strategy efforts across multiple client accounts including CMS, the Office of Personnel Management and the Social Security Administration. Prior to joining AFS, Brathwaite worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she managed projects that supported CMS quality and payment reform portfolio. She also led client engagements with the Veterans Health Administration, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, and Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research.
