Adedayo Oduola is a public health entomologist with more than two decades of experience in Nigeria on malaria vector control programs in development institutions, research institutes, and academia. He has worked on malaria projects of national significance funded by the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Bank, the European Union, and the private sector. As a senior lecturer at the University of Ilorin, his passion for ensuring a well-trained vector control workforce led to a WHO capacity strengthening grant that enabled him to train and mentor 23 entomologists from across the country.

For more than 20 years, Jeffrey Conrad Wuorinen has focused on bridging divides and convening partnerships to take on intractable social, economic, governance, and environmental problems. Through his work in 100 countries, he has helped to mobilize more than $8 billion in capital and capacity investment into economic, social, and environmental infrastructure across the global south.  Wuorinen has worked at the grassroots level with communities and he has advised at the highest levels of governments and international organizations.

Brian Chirwa is an agricultural and environmental scientist with over three decades worth of experience working on projects funded by the World Bank, the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), the Environmental Council of Zambia, and the Southern African Development Community (SADC). He brings 18 years’ experience on PMI-funded projects focused on indoor residual spraying (IRS) and insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) and has provided technical leadership, assistance, and high-level management for country-wide Zambian IRS and ITN campaigns. Brian also has three decades' worth of experience designing environmental information systems (EIS) for public organizations.

Dr. Josephat Shililu is a senior project manager and entomologist with over 20 years’ experience managing malaria control programs and conducting malaria vectors’ research. He has extensive expertise in project planning and implementation and has contributed to successful and timely implementation of IRS projects in Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Kenya. He has also contributed to Ministries of Health (MOH’s) capacity strengthening efforts in malaria research, environmental compliance procedures, logistics systems, and mobilization campaigns. Dr. Shililu has ensured sound financial management and timely completion of quality project technical and financial deliverables.

Dr. Gulnora Razykova is a medical doctor, health system strategist, and healthcare executive with more than 20 years’ experience leading and managing health and education projects. She is an expert in several health fields, having led multi-million-dollar projects for several donor agencies, including the United Nations Drug Control Programme and Department for International Development. Razykova has a clinical background and research experience in the social sector, clinical pharmacology, and healthcare environment in Tajikistan. She has extensive experience in private and government health system development and strengthening. She is adept in complex program management and especially skilled in financial planning, budgeting and monitoring. In addition, Razykova has extensive experience in human resources and results-based management.

Dr. Diarra Houleymata is a public health technical expert with more than 25 years of experience in program development and management. Dr. Houleymata has designed and implemented technical assistance across all levels of governments and health systems, including for more than 10 USAID-funded programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Guinea, Nigeria, Mali, and other countries. Her expertise spans integrated health; maternal, newborn, and child health; nutrition; and other sectors. As Chief of Party (COP) leading several country-level projects and a member of national task forces, she has delivered innovative technical assistance to Ministries of Health (MOH) to develop, validate, and operationalize health policies and strategies, generating significant changes to national health systems.

Dereje Dengela is an epidemiologist and entomologist with more than 25 years of experience in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of malaria control programs. He has extensive managerial experience, having supervised as many as 94 professionals. He has held senior positions with the government of Ethiopia, worked on projects for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and served as a national malaria program officer in Ethiopia. He supported the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in mobilization of financial resources from donors, particularly the Global Fund. Dengela has authored or co-authored more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Etienne Fondjo is a medical entomologist specializing in malaria with 20 years of experience in project management and malaria control funded by the public sector and its partners. He has served as the national malaria coordinator and as the deputy national malaria coordinator in Cameroon’s National Malaria Control Program (NMCP). He has also consulted for the World Health Organization (WHO) in five countries, served as principal investigator for 11 projects in Cameroon, and was the Central Africa coordinator for the Mapping Malaria Risk in Africa (MARA) project in nine countries.

Julio Pacca is a psychologist and innovative leader with more than 20 years of experience in health care. He focuses on HIV and AIDS; maternal health; adolescent health; and health systems strengthening. Pacca has worked with donors such as the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the United Nations, the World Bank, bi-lateral Scandinavian donors, and the William and Flora Hewlett, Goldman, and Bill and Melinda Gates foundations.
