Abt Global is the first-ever company to earn NSF/ANSI 391.1: General Sustainability Assessment Criteria for Professional Services certification and is certified at the highest “Leadership” level. The standard certifies professional service organizations based on transparency and rigor of practices, policies, and commitments across environmental, social, economic, and sustainable supply chain performance criteria.
ISO-9001 Certification (NSF International)
Abt Global has earned ISO 9001 certification following an audit of its quality management system. The certification applies to design, implementation, and support of IT & Digital Solutions and Services. This includes information technology professional services applicable to cybersecurity, application development, mobile computing, artificial intelligence, and cognitive computing.

Abt Global has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Safety & Disaster Response Competency status. EDGE Certification for Gender Equality (EDGE Foundation)
Abt Global has been awarded EDGE Certification, becoming the first U.S. government implementing partner to meet the prestigious global business standard for gender equality. Abt has also achieved Move certification both in the U.S. and on a global level. The Economic Dividends for Gender Equality—EDGE—Foundation certification is considered the leading global assessment methodology and business certification standard for gender equality. The process included an intensive audit of Abt’s gender equity practices, policies and employee perceptions and benchmarking them against other organizations. Abt is one of just 20 organizations in the U.S. to attain Global EDGE Certification.

2023 Commuter Connections Telework Award (Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments)
Abt Global received the 2023 Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Commuter Connections’ Employer Recognition Award for its improved Telework Program. Since winning the Incentives Award in 2020, Abt responded to the pandemic and changes in work conditions with the development of a robust hybrid and remote work strategy for our over 500 employees in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Global Health 50/50 Report : 2024 Very High Performer
Abt Global is a top-performing company when it comes to putting its commitment to gender equality into practice, according to the 2024 Global Health 50/50 Report. Of 201 organizations active in global health, Abt was one of only 33 companies—and the only for-profit firm—rated a Very High Performer. The index measures performance against 10 variables, including public commitment to gender equality, workplace gender equality policy, diversity and inclusion policies, gender parity in senior management, and policy on reporting programmatic data disaggregated by sex. Abt has steadily improved its score every year since 2018, when the report was first published
‘Leadership’ Level - Environmental Impact Mitigation (CDP)
Abt Global has been recognized for leadership in corporate sustainability and climate governance by global environmental non-profit CDP, formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project. Out of more than 5,800 companies scored in 2020, Abt achieved an A- rating, placing it in the top 14 percent of professional services firms implementing best practices addressing environmental transparency and action.
