Most Kids in Child Care Facilities Aren’t Getting Enough Exercise, New Study Finds

The first national study of child-care programs showed that only 43 percent gave children the recommended number of chances for physical activity and the recommended amount of time. Abt’s Lauren Olsho, first author of the study, was quoted about the ill effects of insufficient activity in more than 60 stories in more than 40 news outlets, including US News & World Report and ABC News.
