Kelly Batsiokis

Senior Consultant - Stakeholder Engagement

Bio

Kelly Batsiokis is a management consultant with 20 years’ experience in the education, health, and human services sectors. She has worked in areas ranging from health promotion and adult education to business case development to monitoring and evaluation of health programs. She has worked for non-government organizations and public and private organizations.

Kelly has led or contributed to approximately 30 projects, including a diverse range of reviews, evaluations, and business planning projects spanning local, state, and Commonwealth government organizations. Her project roles included project management, reporting, survey development and analysis, literature reviews, stakeholder and consumer interviews, focus groups, workshops, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.

Kelly’s current role involves undertaking stakeholder engagement as part of a functional review of palliative care services across an Australian jurisdiction. She also  supports a process evaluation of a project to improve the Australian health curricula for people living with intellectual disability. Since December 2022 (and concurrently with her position at Abt), she has served as a pro-bono Board Director for a small Adelaide-based non-government organization called No Barriers Education Foundation, supporting education outcomes for two rural schools in Zimbabwe. She also manages social media and fundraising for the organization.

Before coming to Abt, Kelly served as project officer with South Australia (SA) Health Office’s Chief Medical Information Officer, supporting two clinical reference groups in 2022. Prior to this role, she worked as a project officer for Cancer Council SA, training health professionals and consumers in smoking cessation techniques. Kelly served as a senior consultant for Health Outcomes International, where she contributed to over 30 diverse health and social services focused projects. She was a project officer for Diabetes SA, leading a business development project.
