The Union World Conference on Lung Health
The Union World Conference on Lung Health is the world’s largest gathering of clinicians and public health workers, health program managers, policymakers, researchers, and advocates working to end the suffering caused by lung disease. This year’s theme – Advancing Prevention – draws on commitments made during the United Nations High-Level Meeting on tuberculosis (TB) in 2018, which promised to prevent hundreds of thousands of infections and deaths every year.
Abt experts from the SHOPS Plus Project look forward to presenting at this year’s conference, highlighting the project’s work in health systems strengthening, TB research, private sector health, and more.
